Our history

We are a Valencian company specialized in the design, production and marketing of suitcases, bags, purses and school backpacks.

Our Origin dates to 1965 when the Gallego family began to manufacture leather goods from their small workshop in Burjassot. Years go by and the small family business becomes a promising artisan workshop. Production begins to grow, always consumer-oriented and under the requirement of quality in the product and service. In 1983 the new generations take over the family business to turn what started as a small workshop into a large industry.

In the 90s, it was decided to bet on the internationalization and relocation of part of the production process, keeping the design in Spain. We consolidate our national and international presence at fairs such as the Bisutex (Madrid), ILM (Offenbach), Paperworld (Frankfurt), lnSights (Nuremberg), and Francal (Sao Paulo).

Today, we are present in 65 countries around the world and we have more than 1,600 sale points in Spain.

Design in Spain

At Gabol we are committed to creativity and innovation in all our collections. The design department is, therefore, one of our pillars and is made up of a designers team of different ages and profiles, who work day to day to generate new and interesting ideas applied to our products, always in accordance with current trends. and to the demand of the clients in our 4 categories: Travel, Bussines, Accessories and School.

Our designs have an indigenous common denominator: the Mediterranean spirit. The freshness, vitality and fun of the Mediterranean feel are reflected in each piece, through floral prints and bright colors, such as turquoise, coral, mustard, red russet or white; and the comfort and practicality of our designs represent and are adopted or our life style.

I + D + I

At Gabol we are continuously implementing new techniques to maintain a constant innovation level and to be able to offer the client the latest product innovations.

Materials. We work with cotton, polyester, nylon, and synthetics giving us the functionality and practicality the client looks for in our bags and backpacks. In suitcases the materials evolution has been incredibly significant, progressively reinforcing their quality and durability.

Wheels. An essential component and a decisive factor in the choice of a suitcase, they go from being made of PVC to being made of TPU to give less noise to the use of the suitcase.

Baggage security systems. We integrate TSA (Travel Sentry Approved) padlocks to all our medium and high range buckskin collections.

Technical features. Our Business and School backpacks stand out for their compartments and technical characteristics adapted to new technologies. Reflectors, organizers and USB port or solar panels on the backpacks are an example of implemented innovation. In addition, we work on ergonomics, making products more comfortable and padded to protect their interior.

Eco-Friendly Products

We aim to create eco-friendly products and virtually all of our bags and backpacks are already made without PVC plastic. PVC can be very versatile but it is somewhat harmful to the environment.

We also work with materials from recycled plastics - PRET - which we are gradually incorporating into new collections.

We are also prepared to comply with REACH regulations, especially for products aimed at children.

Warranty

We offer up to 10 years of guarantee, according to catalog and product.

* 3 to 10 years warranty on suitcases.

* 5 years warranty on all Business items.

* 3 year warranty on school bags.

We have a product quality control system based on the AW statistical control method quantifying the quality in the product manufacture and the resistance of its materials during all phases of production and distribution.
