Do you know what is Pure Salad? A salad of 140 calories created by Ryland Engelhart and Cary Mosier under the concept of thanks as gastronomic reason. Nowadays, 12 years later, they have 4 restaurants in the USA frequented by stars like Jake Gyllenhaal, Beyonce, Joaquin Phoenix, Alanys Morrisette, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashton Kutcher. The latest restaurant opened is the Mexico-vegan super trendy Gracias Madre.
In 2004, Ryland and Cary opened their first restaurant in San Francisco, Local Vegan Cafe Gratitude, inspired by the concept of practicing gratitude in daily life. After bringing the delicious Pure Salad to the postal address of manyHollywood celebrities, their salad became to the restaurant star and throughout a media phenomenon.
Salad is made with kale, avocado, palm butter, nori, carrots, onions and almonds. All ingredients are always organic, local and from regenerative agriculture, and they are prepared with joy, generosity and recognition. Today, people go to their local to celebrate that they are alive, they have a dish prepared with love and they can join to their gastronomic movement (a concept very famous along the Pacific coast).
